As we continue our growth journey, the quality of our platform is paramount. We are seeking a QA Specialist who will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our digital products meet the highest standards of performance, usability, and reliability. This role involves systematically examining our software solutions and identifying any bugs or areas for improvement.
Role Overview:
The QA Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the highest quality standards for our products by implementing and executing rigorous test plans. This involves manual testing of our web and mobile platforms, identifying bugs, documenting them, and collaborating with the development team to ensure that any issues are addressed promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans for web and mobile applications.
- Manually test product functionality across different platforms and devices.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure a swift resolution of identified issues.
- Perform regression testing on new product releases.
- Provide detailed reports on testing outcomes and improvement suggestions.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss testing results and contribute to product development strategies.
- Stay current with industry best practices and advancements in testing methodologies.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance or testing roles.
- Experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficient in using issue-tracking tools like JIRA or similar.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer experience.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools/processes is a plus, but not required.
