What you will be doing in this role

Reporting to the Allied Health & Outpatient Services Manager you will assess patient’s conditions, establish patient centred treatment goals, and implement safe physiotherapy interventions by which these goals can be met.

You will manage a physiotherapy clinical caseload in acute care and rehab wards, and outpatient programs whist working closely with other physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and therapy assistants. 

We have two casual roles available. Mainly to cover Saturday shifts, 2-4x per month. Start 8:30am for 7.5hr shifts. 

Who we’re looking for

You are a qualified Physiotherapist ideally with experience within hospital acute care. Ideally, you’ll have experience in ICU, neuro, or in a medical assessment unit.

  • You’ll have current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
  • You’ll have an elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.
  • You’ll be an exceptional communicator with demonstrated experience professionally communicating with patients, their families and colleagues.
  • You’ll have the flexibility to work casually to support the team, picking up Saturday work 2-4 Saturdays per month.
