Full Time
At Aston Martin, we are dedicated to pushing boundaries and delivering excellence in every vehicle we create. The Total Delivered Cost (TdC) team plays a critical role in shaping our future, driving cost optimisation across current and future models while ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation.
As a TdC Co-ordinator, you will be at the centre of this mission, working with colleagues across engineering, procurement, and finance to identify, manage and deliver cost reduction opportunities. This is a diverse role, offering the chance to broaden your technical and commercial expertise while making a real, measurable impact on the business.
What you’ll be doing
You will manage multiple cost optimisation projects, coordinating engineering and commercial initiatives with the specific aim of reducing the cost of components and assemblies. Day-to-day, you will interrogate data, benchmark parts, and work closely with colleagues in procurement, Bill of Materials and the wider TdC team to identify the most effective opportunities for savings.
A key part of the role is evaluating new ideas entered into our Total Cost Optimisation system, supporting the development of robust business cases and presenting potential solutions to senior stakeholders. You will also take responsibility for organising workshops and product convention events, maintaining detailed timing plans, and ensuring initiatives are communicated clearly across the business.
What we’re looking for
- General knowledge of vehicle and component design and manufacture.
- Experience in project management with some commercial exposure; negotiating experience desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience of cost reduction initiatives, tools and techniques would be an advantage.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in building relationships across multiple teams.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple workstreams.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Confident communication skills, with the ability to present effectively at senior levels.
Why Join Us?
This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on Aston Martin’s future products and programmes. You will gain exposure across the business, working closely with buyers, engineers, and finance professionals to challenge the status quo and deliver measurable savings. As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you’ll develop both technical and commercial skills, while playing a central role in shaping the value of our vehicles for years to come.
