Learning and Development Specialist Employability
Place of work: Home Based (you will be primarily based at home, however travel will be required to any of our offices when needed this will be discussed further with the Hiring Team in more detail at interview)
- Salary: £36,000 & Company Benefits.
- Contract: Full Time Permanent
- Hours of work: 37.5 hours Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.00
The Learning and Development Employability Specialist is responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of training and development initiatives focused on employability skills for staff across various roles within Ingeus. This includes functional skills, core employability competencies, and role-specific development delivered both virtually and face-to-face, in group and one-to-one settings.
Our successful Learning and Development Specialist will be working remotely from home. (There will be a requirement to travel when needed to any of our offices).
What you'll be doing as our Learning and Development Specialist:
- Support the Operations Manager to identify and address learning needs
- Conduct training needs assessments
- Coordinate, develop and facilitate induction programmes for new starters.
- Deliver ad-hoc training interventions aligned with identified needs
- Create high quality accessible learning materials to support employability skills development
- Oversee and deliver continuing professional development (CPD) for existing staff
- Support the Leadership Team in various learning and development initiatives.
What We'Re Looking For:
- Strong experience in training or facilitation.
- Experienced in Learning facilitation/delivery skills and session planning.
- Good IT skills
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and techniques
- Strong organisational skills, communication and influencing skills.
- Strong coaching and feedback skills
- Excellent planning and diary management
- Good understanding of group learning principles
