About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our Penrith Board Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a day shift 6am – 2.30pm with daily overtime available. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll play a role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Working alongside the production team to complete routine maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns for production machinery.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
• Ensuring spare parts are available and ordering as required.

What You’Ll Bring

• Trade qualified Fitter, with experience in manufacturing environments.
• Able to work independently and alongside our operators to resolve issues.
• Troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance skills and knowledge.
• Tech-savvy and knowledge of JSEAs and risk assessments.
• Pneumatics, hydraulics and basic machining knowledge.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
