This position is responsible for assisting the Nursing Programs with administrative duties to support the NUA/BSN/PN Programs in the Health Sciences Division.
The pay rate is $19.16 per hour.
This position is temporary part-time, not to exceed 28 hours per week, maximum 9-month assignment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Completed high school diploma, OR GED.
- Two years of relevant work experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position OR a combination of related education plus relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned totaling two years.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic file management.
- Experience with PPSC internal management systems, like Banner, Navigate and D2L.
- Experience in an office setting and can work in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent Spanish.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesNursing Support:
- Assist in maintaining an electronic records management system for the ADN Program.
- Assist ADN Program Support Specialist with various accreditation tasks.
- Provide administrative support with incoming emails and phone calls.
- Assist with enrollment registration and ensure incoming students meet minimum requirements.
- Assist with creating recruitment materials for students interested in a medical career.
- Assist with onboarding of new part-time personnel for Nursing Programs.
- Assist with receiving and inventorying supplies and equipment for Nursing Programs.
- Data entry, filing, and record keeping.
- Communicate effectively with the Health Sciences Administration Team, Department Chairs, Faculty, Instructors, Director of Nursing Education Practices, and Executive Dean of Health Sciences.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Suite applications, such as Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.

- Creativity and flexibility in designing innovative approaches to solving problems.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to excel independently and as a team member in a collaborative environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and positive energy regarding professional education.
