Director of FP&A

Description

We are a fast-growing healthcare technology company backed by a top-tier private equity firm. We are looking for a Director of FP&A to lead all financial planning and analysis, partnering closely with the CFO and our PE partners to drive value creation, M&A, and long-term strategy. This is a high-impact role with direct exposure to board-level decision making.  You will start by hiring and managing an FP&A analyst and will grow the team as the business scales. 

Job Functions:

• Own all FP&A processes, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term strategic modeling. 
• Partner with CFO and senior leadership to develop business cases, support M&A analysis, and drive decision-making. 
• Build scalable financial models and dashboards to track performance and inform strategy. 
• Implement and enhance planning tools and systems (Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment, etc.). 
• Lead, mentor, and expand the FP&A team over time. 
• 7+ years of FP&A experience at a mid-sized/growth company; healthcare, health systems, or pharmacy experience a strong plus. 
• 3+ years of management experience strongly preferred. 
• Demonstrated success in budgeting/forecasting, long-term modeling, and M&A support. 
• Experience with planning systems (Adaptive, Pigment, or similar) preferred. 
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. 
• MBA or CFA a plus. 
• Remote work experience and ability to collaborate across teams and time zones. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree or industry certifications desired but not required 
• Minimum two years of management experience.
