Retail Shift Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY
The Retail Shift Supervisor reports directly to the Retail Site Manager and is responsible for maintaining store operations, performing daily functions/tasks and provide exemplary customer service in order to achieve sales budgets and maximize profit.

• QUALIFICATIONS
• • Minimum grade 12 education
• • 1-3 years’ experience in retail sales and customer service
• • Excellent sales, point of sale and cash balancing skills
• • Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative
• • Proven display and merchandising skills
• • Excellent problem solving skills
• • Team oriented
• RESPONSIBILITIES
• Some of the responsibilities include:
• • Provide exemplary customer service
• • Provide accurate and efficient service at cash and comply with procedures for daily balancing of the Point of Sale System
• • Restocking in order to drive sale, ensure prices are correct and signage is appropriate and in good condition
• • Participate in planning and executing of store set-up, assists with preparation and count of the yearend inventory
• • Supervise and guide volunteers, assign tasks and distribute their daily work
• • All other duties as assigned

HOURS OF WORK: Part-time hours – must be flexible. Will be required to work days, evenings and weekends.
