About EY Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM): EY FSRM is a dedicated team within EY that offers risk management expertise to financial institutions, helping them navigate the complex and evolving landscape of prudential risk. Our team is composed of professionals with deep industry knowledge and technical expertise to assist clients in managing prudential risk and regulatory reporting requirements.

We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in prudential risk and regulatory reporting to join our FSRM team in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with regulatory reporting tools and will have previously collaborated with or worked directly for a bank, service provider or within a Big 4 firm in Luxembourg. This role requires a deep understanding of the regulatory environment and the ability to provide strategic insights and solutions to our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support on projects related to prudential risk and regulatory reporting for financial institutions.
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory requirements, including but not limited to CRD IV/CRR, BRRD, and the specificities of the CSSF regulations.
  • Utilize and optimize regulatory reporting tools to ensure accurate and timely reporting for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends to provide proactive guidance to clients.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within EY to deliver comprehensive risk management solutions.
  • Knowledge of prudential and regulatory reporting, including (but not limited to) : COREP, FINREP, liquidity reporting (LCR, NSFR), Anacredit and other BCL reportings.
  • Experience in regulatory reporting and with regulatory reporting tools (Regnology, Moody, WKFS, …) is a strong asset

Skills and attributes for success

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in prudential risk and regulatory reporting within the financial services industry.
  • Prior experience working with regulatory reporting tools in Luxembourg.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory framework in Luxembourg and the EU, including in-depth knowledge of ECB, EBA, CRR/CRD requirements, and CSSF circulars.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply regulatory standards to complex financial operations.
  • Good project management skills and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or German is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and regulators.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
