Job Purpose

The Research Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing research studies from initiation through delivery. This includes managing timelines, consolidating data, and ensuring effective collaboration with internal teams and external agencies. The role requires strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to track multiple project components simultaneously using tools such as Excel and DevOps.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute internal research studies, including data collection, to deliver validated scientific results.
  • Coordinate with external agencies to ensure efficient delivery of studies, including product shipments and blinding processes within Europe (in collaboration with logistics specialists).
  • Consolidate and track all study datasets, identifying and recording data quality issues, feedback, or anomalies to support effective analysis by data scientists.
  • Monitor and report project progress against planned timelines and budgets, highlighting risks, delays, or issues to program managers.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure transparent communication with stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in planning and coordinating research projects or studies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project tracking and management tools (e.g., Excel, DevOps).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to monitor data quality and identify risks.
  • Numerate, computer-literate, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
