Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Linux Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize our cloud-based Linux infrastructure. This role involves working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Linux systems, and DevOps tools to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable operations.

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based Linux systems.
• Administer production, staging, and development environments.
• Monitor system performance, server load, and resource usage.
• Apply security patches and hardening techniques.
• Enforce best practices for access control, vulnerability testing, and compliance.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and Nexus.
• Automate deployment and configuration using tools like Ansible, Chef, or SaltStack.
• Architect and manage hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Support disaster recovery and backup strategies.
• Collaborate with cloud service providers and internal teams.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of infrastructure and configurations.
• Provide on-call support and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Linux distributions (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Shell).
• Familiarity with networking concepts (firewalls, load balancers, VPNs).
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Linux system engineering or cloud infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, RHCE, or similar.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
