The Case Manager Client Engagement Specialist plays a vital role in supporting clients to achieve sustainable employment success through the Integrated Employment Services (IES) program. The position focuses on fostering strong, ongoing relationships with clients and employers to ensure engagement, motivation, and meaningful outcomes. By analyzing client progress and program results, the role contributes to the continuous improvement of strategies that drive retention and long-term success. Strong communication, marketing, and relationship-building skills are essential to build employer trust, encourage client participation, and promote positive employment outcomes. The position also represents the organization externally, strengthening partnerships and expanding professional networks.
In This Role, You Will:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients after placement in employment, providing regular check-ins, motivation, and problem-solving support.
- Collect and track required employment verification documents, including job letters and pay stubs, according to the determined periodicity, to ensure compliance with IES performance funding requirements.
- Act as a trusted liaison between clients and employers to confirm employment status, address concerns, and support workplace success.
- Develop proactive outreach strategies, including follow-up calls, emails, and in-person meetings, to maintain consistent engagement with clients.
- Support clients at risk of job loss by providing timely interventions, workplace coaching, and referrals to additional resources.
- Utilize marketing and sales approaches to design personalized outreach campaigns, encourage ongoing client participation, and promote the YMCA’s value to employers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CRM and program databases, ensuring all client outcomes and employer contacts are properly recorded.
- Contribute to planning and delivery of retention-focused initiatives, including employer engagement events and client appreciation activities.
- Monitor retention results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improved strategies to meet program and funder performance targets.
- Represent the YMCA at employer and community events to strengthen partnerships and expand employment networks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
You Bring:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Social Services, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in sales, client engagement, or customer service.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, client tracking databases, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire clients, using persuasive communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, with resilience in addressing client and employer challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a results-oriented environment while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as required.
