Description

We are currently recruiting a Senior Project Delivery Manager to join the Azure Team and lead on our Azure Cloud Infrastructure & Security, and Data & AI projects.

As an experienced and seasoned Senior Project Delivery Manager, you’ll work with us and the wider Codec team, and our customers closely. This role is a hybrid role, meaning the location of the work will be a combination of remote working, onsite with the client and working from the Codec office.

The Senior Project Delivery Manager is responsible for leading Azure Cloud Infrastructure & Security projects and our Data & AI project development phases, delivery of investigations, detailed scoping, concept design, stakeholder to ensure high quality and effective delivery of projects. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Delivery: Manage large-scale Azure Cloud Infrastructure projects, ensuring robust security architecture and compliance throughout all phases.
• Security Integration: Oversee the implementation of security best practices, risk mitigation strategies, and regulatory requirements within Azure environments.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and execute customer engagement plans, focusing on security needs and infrastructure scalability.
• Project Management: Maintain project data, planning, and forecasting in Codec’s PM tool (Projector), with a focus on infrastructure and security milestones.
• End-to-End Accountability: Manage all aspects from pre-sales (security scoping, infrastructure requirements) through implementation and secure handover to operational support.
• Reporting: Deliver regular project monitoring and security compliance updates to the Head of the Project Management Office (PMO).
• Interdependency Management: Identify and manage dependencies between infrastructure and security projects, ensuring seamless integration.
• Governance: Collaborate with Codec’s Resource Management Office and Senior Leadership Team to address client security concerns and maintain high standards.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet strict security and infrastructure quality gates.
• RAID Management: Identify, document, and manage project risks, especially those related to security vulnerabilities, implementing mitigation actions.
• Cost & Resource Management: Estimate project costs, manage resources, and ensure security controls are adequately funded and staffed.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

Required Experience:

•  5+ years in Senior Project Delivery Management, with a focus on Azure Infrastructure and Security.
• Project Management Certification: Prince2 Practitioner/PMP.
• Enterprise Experience: Proven track record delivering large-scale Azure infrastructure projects with integrated security solutions.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Azure Cloud Infrastructure, security frameworks, and Data & AI project delivery.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Experience managing teams across infrastructure, security, and operations.
• Tool Proficiency: Skilled in MS Project and familiar with Projector or similar automation tools.
• Methodologies: Experience with agile, waterfall, and hybrid project management, especially in security-sensitive environments.
