Job Summary: Performs a variety of administrative duties to provide support to the Pharmacy Department. Maintains the pharmacy computer systems and serves as the liaison for third party audits. Handles pharmacy purchasing activities, and performs other job-related duties as requested.

Specifications: High school graduate with experience in pharmacy. Certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board with CPHT Certification and licensed through the RI Board of Pharmacy as a Tech II required. A minimum of two years pharmacy purchasing experience in hospital pharmacy preferred including 340B qualification and pricing, GPO and wholesaler contracting; and purchasing and inventory control. Demonstrated skills with personal computers and applications desired. Detail oriented; ability to work independently and as part of a team; and strong interpersonal skills desired.
