The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Remediation Engineer to join our Cyber Offence team. Reporting to the Assistant Manager – Cyber Offence, this role plays a critical part in protecting Crown Resorts Group’s digital infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing security architecture, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to cyber threats and incidents. This is a hands-on role that combines technical expertise, forensic analysis, and strategic thinking to safeguard Crown’s systems and data.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Designing and implementing security plans and upgrades across networks and systems.
- Monitoring and evaluating compliance with IT security requirements and policies.
- Performing risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and remediation tracking.
- Responding to network intrusions using forensic tools and techniques.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of security practices and policies.
- Assisting with budget management and ensuring remediation programs meet regulatory requirements.
About You
You are a technically skilled and solutions-focused cybersecurity professional with a strong understanding of threat detection, remediation, and infrastructure protection. You thrive in complex environments and bring a proactive mindset to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
You Will Also Bring:
- Experience in an information security or cyber remediation role.
- Strong technical background in security technologies and compliance management.
- Experience with risk assessments, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Risk, Financial Services, or Governance.
- Industry certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly regarded.
