Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote)

As we scale our EMEA engineering operations, this role will be remote-based, assigned to our UK leadership team and will focus on supporting our UK-based clients. While you’ll enjoy the flexibility of working remotely, you’ll be closely aligned with our UK delivery teams and client stakeholders, ensuring time-zone overlap and easier collaboration. 

We are looking for someone that he led a small team of highly skills engineers, and past experience in supporting and working with overseas clients within a remote style of working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimise CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery.  
  • Design and implement automated deployment processes across multiple environments.  
  • Deploy infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform  
  • Build and maintain monitoring and alerting to identify issues.  
  • Develop and implement fast rollback strategies to minimise downtime and risk during releases.  
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams.  
  • Continuously evaluate and improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.

  • Reside close to Warsaw to attend team meetings in person.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Team leadership (team size 5+, mid level to senior engineers)
  • Strong written and verbal English 
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar role.  
  • Strong expertise with CI/CD tooling e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps. 
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure. 
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform. 
  • Solid background in containerisation and orchestration e.g., Docker, Kubernetes.  
  • Experience implementing monitoring and alerting solutions.  
  • Knowledge of deployment strategies, including canary, blue-green, and rollback approaches.  
  • Strong scripting or programming skills including Python, Bash, or similar. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, automation-first mindset.  

Nice To Have

  • Past experience in growing and leading engineering teams in Poland.
  • Experience with security automation and DevSecOps practices.  
  • Familiarity with feature flags and progressive delivery.  
  • Exposure to event-driven architectures and modern microservices patterns.  
  • Experience in high-growth consulting or SaaS environments.
