Description
Your RoleTo provide timely legal advice and general legal support to Glory Global Solutions internationally in all corporate and commercial matters, focusing on support of the EMEA region. Identifying and arranging appropriate local legal support, either internally or externally. Managing regional GGS employed or external attorneys and legal professionals to best in class commercial, governance and compliance matters. Supporting the General Counsel EMEA in reviewing and advising on strategic and business initiatives to ensure legal compliance and best outcome whilst maintaining a global approach with other regional attorneys within the department.
Key Responsibilities
Guidance on GGS process and policies- Managing drafting, evaluation, negotiation through to execution of a variety of commercial agreements including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Sales / Purchasing Agreements, Sub-contracts, review of customer proposed terms and conditions and supporting corporate activities within the regions.
- Serves as the legal point of contact for internal and external customers on contractual matters. Act as contractual liaison between company employees and customers and / or external counsel, ensuring timely review and approval / reconciliation of contracts, governance and compliance initiatives.
- Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects.
- Train managers and other employees in contracting practices and procedures, group policies and initiatives as well as legal compliance (covering the areas listed below).
- Ensure legal compliance in areas including anti-corruption, competition laws and support staff training on Group standards.
- Monitor compliance by company employees with established procedures.
- Work with Finance to ensure adherence to broader finance and risk requirements such as revenue recognition, pricing and discounting policies, export controls etc.

- Support Regional Management / Marketing to ensure company products and services are offered with appropriate, competitive terms and conditions.
- Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation.
- Manage legal, governance and compliance matters relating to change management.
- Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.)
- Ensure contract close-out, extension or renewal.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Qualifications, Training & Experience- License to practice law in France
- Previous experience as an in-house lawyer preferable but not required
- 4+ years previous qualified experience
- Strong relevant experience from major firms and / or relevant company experience
- Have a broad understanding of all aspects of commercial law with international experience
- Fluency in English and French required
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Strong character able to defend contractual positioning
- Have excellent negotiation skills
- Have good attention to detail and proven drafting ability
- Confident and articulate
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to work within a competitively challenging environment
- Able to develop simple solutions to complex legal questions
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results
- Highly self motivated and directed
