Job Title: Deputy Manager – Data AnalystDepartment: Finance & Accounting – Business Intelligence (Quality SBU 2 F&A -100013372)Location: Mumbai (or specify as needed)Reporting To: BI Manager – F&A Role Overview:We are looking for a proactive and analytical Deputy Manager – Data Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting BI team. This role is pivotal in leveraging data to drive operational excellence, monitor process hygiene, and support strategic decision-making across AP, AR, and GL functions.Roles and Responsibilities:Analyse industry-wise trends to generate actionable insights for leadership.Benchmark F&A metrics across industries to identify best practices and gaps.Monitor process hygiene by identifying recurring issues across AP, AR, and GL.Perform predictive analysis to foresee SLA or KPI breaches before they occur.Use data to answer business questions and solve operational challenges.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver relevant insights.Build dashboards and reports for real-time visibility into service delivery.Detect compliance risks and irregularities early to support governance efforts.Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic decisions.Required Skillsets:Skill Category ExamplesTechnical Skills SQL, Python/R, Excel, TableauAnalytical Thinking Statistical analysis, hypothesis testingCommunication Data storytelling, stakeholder engagementDomain Knowledge Understanding of industry-specific F&A metricsQualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.5–8 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a BPM or F&A environment.Strong understanding of finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R) and service delivery metrics.Experience in building predictive models and automating reporting workflows.Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and present insights to leadership.Preferred Certifications (Optional):Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI)Tableau Desktop SpecialistSix Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
