Position Summary
SRS Acquiom is currently recruiting for a Deal Onboarding Associate, reporting to the Senior Director, Contract Administration. Under general direction, the Deal Onboarding Associate is responsible for overseeing all functions as it relates to the onboarding process of new M&A transactions. The role also requires development and maintenance of processes related to client communication and support.
This position requires fielding complex analytical questions across business lines, being able to communicate effectively and professionally, and document findings in the internal database. This position requires a motivated, highly detail oriented, individual with a strong work ethic. This person should have excellent oral and written communication, analysis, and documentation skills.
- The hourly rate for this position is between $31.00/hr and $35.00/hr, depending on level of experience.
- This role is fully remote within the Continental United States, and does require that you work standard working hours in Mountain Time
Primary Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for deal onboarding inquiries related to the Shareholder Representative Services product
- Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with sell or buy-side M&A attorneys for post-closing follow-ups for various internal groups
- Perform wire callback verification for SRS Acquiom products
- Track all pending and closed transactions
- Assist with executing agreements
- Onboard new deals by collecting M&A documents and materials and uploading them into our system of record
- Responsible for collecting fees and funding from the closing of M&A transactions
- Timely response to questions from clients regarding accounts and other issues that arise post-close
- Facilitate special projects related to onboarding M&A deals
- Assist internal teams with closing/closed deal-related tasks as needed
- Complete full reconciliations by reviewing the system of record and compare to reporting to ensure no task is missed
- Compile, analyze and send report to Senior leadership
- Collaborate with internal groups to ensure fees and wires are routed appropriately
- Other administrative or project-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in the financial industry
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey sometimes complex aspects of a deal to M&A Attorneys effectively and in a timely manner
- Previous experience prioritizing multiple tasks that require a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced office environment
- Working to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) is required; NetSuite experience would be an added benefit, but not required
- Can work within deadlines and complete work in a timely manner
- Takes ownership of issues and follows through to resolution
- Can work independently or as part of a team, as the issue requires

Physical Requirements/Special Demands
- Ability to work irregular hours, such as nights/weekends or after hours, may be required
