Job Description
Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie Company, is recruiting a Finance Director, France & Benelux reporting to the Area Finance Director Allergan Aesthetics - Europe & Canada for our Aesthetics division in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Decision Partner
- Partner with & guide the General Manager (GM), local leadership team (LT), and the Europe & Canada Area finance team. Provide strategic support in decision-making, proposing informed and effective solutions.
- Be a trusted advisor, proactively monitoring & identifying opportunities and risks as they arise to consistently deliver on the business objectives.
- Collaboratively work to develop appropriate solutions and contingency plans for P&L management.
- Key member of LT helping to drive sustainable commercial relationships, delivering growth to the business.
Finance Team Management & support to various Stakeholders
- Provide leadership to build, maintain, and develop a strong, high-performing Finance Team
- Act as a single point of contact for local GM and Area teams on financial topics;
- Act as key interface and owner of relationships with External Auditors, Customers/Suppliers, amongst others, ensuring that a proactive, appropriate relationship is always maintained while also providing visibility of control discussions to Area, FSS, and Internal Audit.
P&L Management
- Manage & supervise the budget planning cycles: LBE, Updates, Plan, LRP, Entity plan
- Accurately forecast sales and financial performance by utilizing and challenging commercial models and expense assumptions.
- Co-ordinate brand P&Ls, maintain overview of budget and spending.
- Ensure plans are accurate and well supported, providing scenarios to support forecasting activities.
- Anticipate market activities and key external risks that can impact business. Ensure management is advised on exposure issues.
Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple functions and to recognize and appropriately resolve conflicts of goals or practices when they arise to ensure the right strategic outcome for the business
- Strategic business partnering skills to ensure country GM and LT are appropriately supported and challenged
- Experience in strategic financial planning, accounting, cost accounting, and principles of taxation
- Consultative approach; strong customer orientation and engagement; implements services to meet customers’ and the organization’s needs
- Quickly understands business operations, able to identify key opportunities and levers to develop business plans
- Building Strategic Work Relationships: Able to build cross-functional relationships, demonstrates high interrelation and social skills, interacting externally and internally; able to lead and influence.
- Demonstrates a high level of analytical skill; leverages financial knowledge; keeps up to date with market trends and professional expertise; exercises sound judgment and decision making
- Experience in leading a team and delivering results through the motivation and enablement of others, notably across a spectrum of grades and abilities
- Focusing on performance – ensuring accountability and driving results across the entire Commercial organisation
- Excellence Focused – demonstrating passion and commitment to turning strategy into reality; driving results by focusing on prioritization, continuous improvement, and innovation

From a practical point of view and daily work life: currently located in Rungis, the headquarters of AbbVie France will be relocated to 11 Boulevard, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt by the end of 2025.
