As a US-based warranty provider, we provide expertise in safety and homecare to our customers. Our integrated solutions meet customer needs both inside and outside the home. Inside the home we protect critical aspects of home function such as plumbing, heating and cooling, appliances, power surges, hot water heater, and interior electrical. Outside the home we provide protection for critical lines (water, gas, wells, sewers, electric and septic). We primarily go to market B2B2C, partnering mostly with water/gas/electric utilities and municipalities to offer our product leveraging their brand for marketing and often adding our subscription fee to the water/gas/electric bill itself. Position Summary
Oncourse Home Solutions is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Director of Marketing to lead digital acquisition and CRM initiatives that will accelerate new customer growth and elevate the company’s customer engagement efforts. The Senior Director will define and execute a comprehensive strategy to diversify Oncourse’s customer acquisition efforts beyond Direct Mail, currently the dominant channel. The goal is to identify and scale profitable digital acquisition channels across the company’s portfolio of products and markets. The role will also lead the development and implementation of a best-in-class CRM roadmap to deepen customer relationships, enhance engagement, and drive customer lifetime value.
This position is a critical leadership role that supports both current and future lines of business, directly aligning with the company’s broader corporate strategy, including its brand position, mission, vision, and values. The Senior Director will manage a high-performing Digital Team and work cross-functionally with key stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Operations, Call Center, IT, Finance, Business Development, and external agency partners.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in evolving Oncourse’s go-to-market approach—from an affinity-based, Direct Mail-led model to a modern, omnichannel strategy with a strong emphasis on digital-first growth.
Located at our office in Naperville, our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience, so a regular in-office hybrid model (T-TH in office and M & F remote) is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Define and lead Oncourse’s Digital Acquisition and CRM strategies, clearly communicating goals, progress, and outcomes to senior stakeholders across the organization.
- Develop and implement annual marketing plans for all digital paid/performance media and CRM (email and SMS), including associated budgets and internal/external resource requirements.
- Drive a focused learning agenda and testing roadmap, prioritizing experiments and optimizations with the highest potential to generate scalable, profitable growth.
- Grow overall media investment and efficiency, while increasing contribution from earned and owned channels to meet Marketing’s customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV) targets.
- Lead and manage relationships with external agencies, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to deliver integrated digital marketing plans aligned with customer insights and business objectives.
- Lead a high-performing team of performance marketers, CRM specialists, and CRO experts, providing strategic direction, coaching, and professional development.
- Partner with IT and Product to ensure seamless data infrastructure and workflows are in place to enable the successful execution of CRM programs.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Analytics team to develop and refine reporting frameworks and dashboards that support performance tracking, optimization, and accountability across Digital and CRM initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications of the Role:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing, including 5+ years in performance marketing and/or CRM leadership roles, with at least 2 years of hands-on channel management.
- Proven track record of developing and executing digital acquisition and CRM strategies that drive meaningful business growth.
- Deep technical expertise across key digital channels, including SEM, SEO, Paid Social, Affiliate Marketing, and others; experience with outbound telemarketing or phone-based remarketing is a plus.
- Extensive experience with at least one enterprise CRM platform (Salesforce Marketing Cloud strongly preferred), with demonstrated ability to design and implement industry-leading CRM programs.
- Strong understanding of unit economics and performance metrics, with a consistent ability to deliver growth within LTV/CAC targets.
- Experience managing digital media agencies or working in an agency environment, with a clear ability to drive alignment and results.
- Background in membership-based or subscription-driven business models is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated success as a people leader, with a coaching mindset and the ability to address performance proactively and constructively.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complexity, align stakeholders, and drive a growth agenda across a cross-functional organization.
- Proven digital marketing experience in high-transaction-volume B2C or B2B2C environments
- Proven ability to identify and scale profitable digital customer acquisition channels that drive sustainable growth.
- Deep experience in paid media with a strong focus on proactive "push marketing" strategies (e.g., display, social, video, programmatic), prioritizing test-and-learn approaches and scaling spend based on demonstrated ROI.
- Demonstrated success in building and executing CRM roadmaps that elevate programs to industry best practices.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving acquisition and monetization, paired with the ability to clearly communicate strategic impact to senior stakeholders.
- Experience managing external digital advertising agencies and partnering internally to develop digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals and audience needs.
Computer Skills Needed to Perform the Job:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience) is required.
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.

We offer a compelling total rewards package that includes a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits to support your total wellbeing. The base pay range for this position is $209,270 - $285,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target.
