Role Purpose

As a Senior Partnership Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of Coface Switzerland by strengthening and expanding strategic partnerships. Reporting directly to the Sales Director Switzerland, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing strategic partnerships across the country. You will work closely with brokers, financial institutions, industry associations, and other key stakeholders to strengthen Coface’s market presence and create long-term value.

Your Main Missions

  • Define and execute a national partnership strategy aligned with Coface’s business objectives and in collaboration with the Sales Director
  • Identify, initiate and develop relationships with key partners to drive revenue growth and market expansion
  • Maintain close relationships with partners through visits and exchanges to monitor partnership quality
  • Anticipate areas for improvement and communicate Coface’s expertise and innovations
  • Negotiate and formalize partnerships agreements, ensuring mutual value creation
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to build impactful content for the market and make the most effective use of resources for campaigns and events
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners, maintaining strong and trust-based relationships
  • Represent Coface at external events and coordinate presence in targeted events to strengthen brand and product awareness
  • Track performance metrics through a diligent utilization of internal CRM and produce consistent reporting
  • Actively ensure compliance with all Coface policies and procedures
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends, competitors, and evolving client needs

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

  • Education
  • Experience

  • Competencies
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Banking or equivalent
  • AFA Insurance Intermediary Certificate (Non-Life module)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or key account management
  • Previous experience in the insurance, financial services or B2B sector is highly preferred
  • Proven success in building, negotiating and managing strategic partnerships, ideally with banking or institutional partners
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a pragmatic and hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationships management skills
  • Comfortable working across departments and managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to manage complexity, set priorities, and drive projects to completion
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Fluency in German as well as  in English or French
  • Strong understanding of Swiss market dynamics and customer expectations
  • Strong digital literacy (CRM tools, reporting tools, MS Office, etc)
