Sr. Tech Partner & Procurement Manager (temporary 6 months)

Your Profile

• Senior professional with a strong track record of IT procurement focused on tech-driven transformation preferably in the media industry.
• Proven ability to influence and build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• We are looking for an expert with a focus on delivering business value through procurement.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, adept at handling complex contracts.
• Experience managing multiple high-priority projects and contracts simultaneously as part of Q4 peak main period is after Q4 peak. Leave it out?  I would leave it in if the person is joining in November.
• Experienced in carveouts, M&A and in finding synergies within multiple domains is a plus.
• Fluent in English, preferably also fluent in Dutch.
• HBO or university degree and at least 5-7 years of expertise.
• Tech Saavy (familiar with AI and data management tooling, SAP, MS Dynamics,CLM tooling and Office 365,Jira, confluence) Is SAP still relevant since we are moving to Dynamics? Gatekeeper is not mentioned. I would add that. I think CLM tooling is covering Gatkepper, I would leave SAP in because we will still have to log in to the tool post migration but would add here Dynamics as well.

Your Task

• Vendor Selection and Contract Negotiation: Work with internal  teams business stakeholders to define needs, select vendors, and negotiate contracts. Review and negotiate best commercial terms for RTL.
• Contract Management: Oversee contract performance and ensure compliance with privacy, security, and other legal requirements.
• Relationship Building: Develop partnerships with technology partners, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
• Consolidating and harmonization contracts as part of RTL and DPG merge. transition(?)
• Manage operational processes of invoices and purchase orders in SAP.Dynamics,

Our Partner Management team (total of 4 team members) is part of our Technology Business Unit and is performing the end-to-end procurement cycle for technology products and services. The Partner Managers are playing an essential role in the vendor strategy for RTL’s key technology platforms and IT solutions (e.g. streaming, advertising technology, data, software engineering, broadcast, product management, IT) and therefor maintain and develop high quality relationships with our partners.
