Project Overview:

Bechtel, a global leader in project management, engineering, procurement and construction, has been selected by Western Sydney Airport Co as its Delivery Partner for the Western Sydney Airport, a $5.3 billion greenfield facility in Badgerys Creek, New South Wales. This will be a landmark project for both New South Wales and Australia and is due for completion at the end of 2026.

Western Sydney Airport will provide much-needed additional aviation capacity to meet growing demand in the Sydney basin and improve access to flights for people in Western Sydney. One of Australia's most significant infrastructure projects in decades, the international and domestic airport will open in 2026, bringing social and economic prosperity to the Western Sydney region. Job Summary:

Bechtel’s internship program was created to cultivate real-life industry interest based on hands-on experience. Many new university graduate hires began their careers at Bechtel as a student intern. 

Our Infrastructure Internship program is open to all undergraduates in supply chain, logistics, business or law. During this time, you’ll see how our business works and take on tasks that will give you valuable experience – all while having a real impact on our organization. You will be able to work full time for ten weeks over the Summer holiday break commencing 24th November 2025, and ending February 6th 2026.

Interns work in multidisciplinary teams and you will have a dedicated supervisor who will be responsible for providing you with a full and busy workload and ensuring we provide you with the best experience possible during your time with us.

Education And Experience Requirements:

To be eligible for our program, you must meet the following:

• Must be currently completing an undergraduate degree in supply chain, logistics, business or law at an accredited university; and have completed one year of study.
• Must hold Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency at the time of application.
• Have excellent skills in oral and written communication
• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
