E@W is seeking a highly motivated and analytical business analyst who focuses on data analytics, finance, and artificial intelligence (AI) applications. This role will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving data-informed decisions, and contributing to developing innovative AI-powered tools. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial data analysis, data visualization, and the potential of AI to enhance business processes, with a critical emphasis on financial modeling.

Financial Modeling

  • Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess the impact of various business drivers.
  • Evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities for optimization through detailed financial modeling.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret complex financial and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide stakeholders with actionable insights.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decision-making and problem-solving.

Financial Analysis

  • Assist in developing and monitoring financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Analyze revenue, expenses, and profitability to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support financial reporting and compliance activities.

Ai Application

  • Explore and evaluate the potential of AI and machine learning to automate processes and enhance decision-making.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define requirements and support the development of AI-powered solutions.
  • Identify and evaluate potential AI use cases within the organization.

Business Requirements & Communication

  • Elicit, document, and manage business requirements for data analytics and AI initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical concepts into clear and concise language.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and drive consensus.

Process Improvement

  • Identify and analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Recommend and implement solutions to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in testing and validating new systems and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, data science, or a related field, OR master’s degree in business administration, finance, data science, or a related field.
  • Preference for 2 years of professional experience in a business analysis or data analytics role.
  • A master’s degree can substitute for 2 years of professional experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Strong financial modeling skills.
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the outsourcing or student employment sector is a plus.
  • Non-US citizens with 2 - 3 years of work authorization may be considered for this position, but future sponsorship is not guaranteed.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with statistical modeling and forecasting.
