The Quality Analyst (QA) ensures consistent, high-quality execution across our SEO services by auditing the work of Onboarding, Content, and Technical Friends. This role is responsible for identifying gaps in implementation, flagging systemic issues, and supporting SOP refinement. You’ll play a key role in safeguarding accuracy and SEO effectiveness across all customer-facing outputs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform quality audits on SEO strategy documents, CMS configurations, content deployments, and technical implementations.
  • Evaluate AI-generated outputs for keyword alignment, readability, and SEO effectiveness.
  • Validate adherence to SOPs and identify process deviations or knowledge gaps within teams.
  • Collaborate with team leaders to deliver feedback loops and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Track quality metrics and recommend enhancements to training, tools, or workflows.
  • Conduct pre-launch quality checks for new clients, ensuring all configurations and content meet baseline SEO standards.
  • Assist in refining checklists, QA protocols, and feedback documentation.
  • 2–4 years of experience in SEO, content quality assurance, or digital operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors in text, structure, and configuration.
  • Familiarity with keyword research, content clustering, metadata, schema markup, and internal linking.
  • Experience auditing outputs within CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow.
  • Knowledge of tools like Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console is a plus.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to turn QA findings into actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO (meta tags, headings, keyword placement, schema, internal linking).

Minimum Requirement Qualifications

  • Core Seo Skills

  • Familiarity with off-page SEO factors (backlinks, citations, authority signals).
  • Knowledge of technical SEO (site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, indexability, canonicalization).
  • Understanding of content quality signals (E-E-A-T, duplicate content, keyword stuffing avoidance).
  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring SEO specialists, fostering skill development and performance growth.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and handle challenges constructively.
  • QA and Analytical Skills 
  • Detail-oriented mindset to spot errors, inconsistencies, and missed optimization opportunities.
  • Ability to create and follow SEO QA checklists and workflows.
  • Competence in testing implementation (structured data validation, robots.txt, sitemap, redirects).
  • Strong data analysis skills for interpreting SEO metrics and detecting anomalies.
  • Tools & Technical Proficiency
  • Proficiency with SEO tools: Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Sitebulb.
  • Knowledge of analytics platforms: Google Analytics (GA4), Looker Studio, or Adobe Analytics.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for spotting SEO-impacting code issues.
  • Experience with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp) for workflow QA, and reporting tools 
  • Workflow & Process Management
  • Ability to review SEO tasks before deployment (metadata updates, redirects, schema markup, site migrations).
  • Strong skills in documentation and reporting for SEO QA findings.
  • Cross-team collaboration with developers, writers, and SEO specialists to ensure fixes are applied correctly.
  • Knowledge of version control processes 
  • Critical thinking – questioning whether SEO work truly aligns with goals.
  • Communication skills – explaining SEO QA issues to non-technical teams clearly.
  • Problem-solving – recommending fixes and best practices, not just flagging errors.
  • Time management – handling multiple QA checks across campaigns, audits, and releases.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on SEO experience and quality-related exposure can qualify
