Area Vice President, ASEAN
The Area Vice President (AVP), ASEAN will lead Commvault’s market expansion across the region. You will be accountable for driving accelerated growth, positioning Commvault’s SaaS, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions as the trusted choice for enterprises, and building a high-performing team.
This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution – a leader who can shape the regional go-to-market strategy, drive disciplined sales performance, and establish Commvault as the partner of choice for secure-by-design data resilience in ASEAN.
How you will make an impact:
- Accelerate Commvault’s growth by acquiring new customers and expanding strategic enterprise accounts.
- Position Commvault as the partner of choice for cyber resilience, SaaS data protection, and secure multi-cloud solutions.
- Build, inspire, and scale a high-performing sales and pre-sales organisation across culturally diverse markets.
- Establish a predictable, high-quality pipeline by embedding sales discipline through MEDDPICC and Command of the Message.
- Strengthen and expand Commvault’s partner ecosystem, enabling MSSPs, hyperscalers, and regional channels to drive joint success.
- Champion the adoption of AI-enabled solutions that enhance security, efficiency, and customer value.
- Lead with credibility and integrity, acting as a trusted advisor to customers, partners, and internal teams.
What You Will Bring:
- 15+ years of enterprise technology leadership, with at least 7 years in cybersecurity, data resilience, or cloud security, and a proven record of regional growth across ASEAN.
- Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing sales organisations in cybersecurity, SaaS, and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong technical acumen in cybersecurity, SaaS, and multi-cloud environments, with familiarity in applying AI to security and data protection.
- Deep relationships with enterprise CIOs, CISOs, and Hyperscaler ecosystems, enabling strategic engagement and influence.
- Expertise in designing and executing complex go-to-market strategies across multi-country regions, embedding MEDDPICC and Command of the Message for disciplined execution.
- A consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets, expanding enterprise accounts, and strengthening channel ecosystems.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching skills, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution, and a competitive yet humble approach that inspires and retains top talent.
