Objectives:
• To be successful the incumbent must constantly monitor and record market changes and demands, collect and provide a full market analysis on competitive and customer data, while continuously translating what these advancements mean to our business.
• Work across a matrix organization both internally and externally and focused on securing insurance project customers.
• As the Automotive Refinish market continues to gain maturity, the position leads change in an ambiguous forward-looking role that is critical to the long-term success of the business. The role requires exceptionally strong influencing and negotiating skills along with proven cross functional collaboration.
Main Tasks:
• Maximize market penetration in assigned segments, particularly in insurance groups in China. Support the refinish coatings organization to further understand insurance project, explore and define the targeting groups, and develop business opportunities at those segments.
• Develop clear strategic plan on insurance project, including short-term quick-wins and long-term roadmaps, in line with ECR 2030 Strategy on increasing strategic influences.
• Develop proposal on sales and marketing, technical solutions to customers and ensure account strategy are exploited consistently.
• Plan, lead and carry out sales activities to achieve sales targets by calling and visiting existing/prospective customers to understand and identify their needs to create a long-term customer supplier relationship.
• Drive the development of insurance projects by coordinating technical resources to support clients; leverage digital and sustainable solutions to create value, ensuring long-term profitability and sustainable business growth.
• Support on market intelligence and competitor intelligence on insurance market, to support designing competitive value proposition.
• Strong leadership skills and strategic thinkings
• Demonstrated understanding of value solution selling practices
• Experience key account management including negotiation skills pricing, profit analysis,
• Proven ability to influence-cross functional teams without formal authority
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High ability to convince and inspire people and self-confidence
• Excellent English reading and writing skills required; candidates with an educational background in chemistry or marketing are preferred
• 5+ years working experience in refinish coatings, sales experience is a must
