Job Description
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) teams assist global banks, retailers, local FinTechs, and governments by solving strategic payment challenges and identifying opportunities. They offer end-to-end support in benchmarking, ideation, definition, implementation, and monitoring, helping clients achieve scale, competitive advantage, and speed to market in the digital age.
In Europe, VCA delivers consulting projects across various payment areas to support Visa's revenue targets. The European VCA team is organized around key Service Lines and Practice Areas such as Portfolio Optimization, Strategy, Digital, and Risk, with Portfolio Optimization accounting for approximately 35% of VCA Europe's total business – where we are looking for a Graduate to join our team!
This role will be client facing, supporting new project sales and delivery – working with our local teams across Europe.
Example of Portfolio Optimisation services include (but not limited to) :
- Drive increased card activation and early usage across all payment channels including digital wallets
- Build focused strategies and segmentation models that deliver higher portfolio performance, domestically and importantly high revenue international spending
- Design and build best in class loyalty, retention and dormancy customer initiatives
- Development of new customer value proposition
Day to day responsibilities of a VCA Portfolio Optimisation Graduate:
- Support the implementation of the Portfolio Optimization Go-To-Market strategy, including the development of new products and solutions such as advisory services, VisaNet-driven data science solutions, and thought leadership publications.
- Assist PO Managers in developing, tracking, reporting, and delivering on VCA Europe Portfolio Optimization practice activities.
- Develop and implement a multi-channel communication plan to promote VCA Portfolio Optimization services both internally to client-facing teams across Europe and externally to VCA clients.
- Collaborate with local PO Managers to identify new consulting and data science opportunities to improve client portfolio performance, with support from Marketing and local teams.
- Enhance internal management reporting and scorecard tracking to demonstrate the impact of VCA PO engagements to Visa senior and executive teams.
- Act as an extension of local client consulting teams, supporting the full consulting lifecycle from business development to project delivery, both virtually and onsite.
- Work closely with other global regions to leverage best practice and content and ideas from other regions that support EU targets
- Be willing to travel (up to 25% of the time across Visa EU territory)

- Graduated between May 2025 - September 2026
