About The Team

We, Nordic A&A Technology, are a 17-colleague large and fast expanding internal product team who builds new tech for Deloitte's Audit & Assurance business. Our mission is to make sure that our platforms work as one across the nordic countries and global infrastructure. Besides developing, we are responsible for all our Nordic assets, so there’s plenty of fun and challenging things to do.

As part of the A&A Tech crew you’re fortunate to work in close collaboration with our CTO on a regular basis, and so you’ll be invited to give input on strategic matters while at the same time get deep into developing the solution. We’re a team where everyone’s encouraged to share and given the freedom to prove how things should be done. It’s in our config file to trust each other's judgment and abilities.

Recently upgraded to a nordic team our focus is to unite the data landscapes in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland by establishing a joint data warehouse and showcasing its value by building business applications on top. In that sense we work in the heart of Deloitte helping the business be efficient and provide the very best client experience.  

Being placed in core of the business but still close to our users provides us with a privileged outset to snap up new ideas turning the best ones into projects. One of our current key projects is to build a self-service platform to allow data acquisition from clients’ ERP-systems. Another important project is to harmonize our Nordic master data serving web applications that optimizes core business processes. A third cornerstone project is designing support tools such as an AI checklist and an outsourcing order portal.

It’s on the shoulders of projects like these that we’re right now expanding our reach to offer several of our solutions to a wider audience, making them available to the business at global scale.

Job Description

We are looking for two new colleagues (please also review the other available position here) to join the development effort on multiple products and upcoming insourcing of solutions from external partners. This role requires proven ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, with a strong focus on distributed systems architecture and seamless third-party integrations. In this role, you will be a key player in the full development lifecycle, taking on significant technical ownership and influencing our direction.

In this role, you will make an impact by:

• Spearheading insourcing of business-critical applications. 
• Future proofing our Nordic ecosystem by ensuring we build for scale.  
• Living out your potential to become an even greater software developer by being on projects that provide room to grow your interests and expertise.
• Developing tech from idea to deploy, that optimizes the way our employees deliver value and services to our customers, especially across the Nordics and Europe.
• Accelerating digitization of Deloitte as a whole, because you are on a team that is extremely ambitious, thinks creatively together, and takes pride in fit-for-purpose solutions.

Qualifications

You have a degree within IT, Computer Science or related field of a shorter or longer duration. Your educational background can also be a combination of professional fields that are not only technical, for example, economics, business, or design.

What you bring to the team:

• You have 3-5 years job experience within software development.
• You are solution-oriented, responsible, and ambitious – because we are at Deloitte.
• You are empathetic and thrive in collaboration with different people who do not always think exactly like you.
• It’s an advantage if you can demonstrate proficiency in one or more of the Nordic languages.
• We see it as a plus if you pursue hobby projects or have had your own business that demonstrates passion for playing and creating.

Your Skills:

• Experienced with .NET, preferably 8.0 +
• Solid understanding of Cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure.
• Adept in cloud native principles and patterns.
• Practical experience with distributed systems, both designing and implementing.
• Advantage to have experience with containerization, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Advantage to have experience with third-party integration, especially to ERP
