职位描述

• Interpret test specifications and requirements
• Understand test requirements and carry out material testing process:

•Prepare Test Components

•Assemble Test Equipment

• Carry out tests using bespoke test equipment
• Perform pre- and post-test measurements for key materials
• Record results and findings
• Create written and graphed test data reports and helping to conclude the outcome
• Present data to wider project group
• Support and contribute to improved testing methods and processes
• Possibility to support the wider product testing labs with adaptive hardware and rig design
• Help commission new test rigs for material testing
• Self-manage own schedule, providing commitments and executing effectively
• Manage inventory of materials samples
• Assist with maintenance test equipment and tools
• Work in a safe manner, understanding and applying general safety practices
• Work in an organized manner, understanding and applying 5S practices
• Drive the creation of written risk assessments and material safety assessments
• Willingness to travel internationally for training
• Attend a 1-hour evening time meeting (8/9pm) with Chicago, USA office up to once a week

职位要求

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Master’s is an advantage

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of materials engineering principles
• Hands-on experience or strong aptitude for operating and maintaining test equipment
• Interest in developing deeper materials knowledge and supporting additional activities beyond testing
