Department Overview

The Tech Human Resources & General Affairs Department (THGD) supports the Technology Division and Community by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. We are responsible for providing HR support on employee matters and implementation of talent development initiatives, including offering an extensive L&D function, to grow our employees and keep them engaged. We partner closely with business leaders to align the HR strategy and provide strategic hiring support to achieve the overall strategic organisational goals. Through our General Affairs team, we further contribute to smoother operations and a positive work environment for our technology teams.

Position Details

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HR People Partner to join our organisation. The People Partner will play a critical role in aligning HR strategy with business objectives and leading HR initiatives. This individual will serve as a strategic partner and advisor to both management and employees, ensuring the successful implementation of HR programs and initiatives that support our employees and organisational goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Support employees with their HR related enquiries/matters
  • Lead and manage HR projects and initiatives, such as organizational restructuring, change management, employee engagement programs, and HR process improvements.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, provide insights, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure HR practices are current and compliant.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on business partnering and project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing HR projects, such as organizational restructuring, talent development programs and change management.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Experience working in a global and highly diverse organization.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Japanese language skills highly advantageous.
  • Understanding of Japan employment laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in talent management, succession planning, and performance management.
