Key Responsibilities
- Packaging Policy Analysis & Legal Interpretation - Monitor, review, and interpret packaging-related regulations across the U.S. (state and federal), with an initial focus on EPR laws, recyclability labeling (SB 343, etc.), and sustainability mandates. - Software Product Integration: Translate legal and policy text into decision trees, checklists, and user workflows for integration into our platform. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure legal requirements are built into platform features accurately and intuitively. Support the development of backend rules engines and frontend UX through policy breakdowns.
- Subject Matter Expertise (SME) driving Customer Success & Thought Leadership: Serve as the internal packaging compliance SME - supporting go-to-market processes such as client pitches, onboarding, content creation, and training. Collaborate closely with sustainability, product, BD/sales, and legal teams to align on emerging compliance features and customer education. Contribute to the design of sustainability analytics modules, including ecomodulation modeling, packaging taxes, and recyclability assessments. Contribute to white papers, webinars, or ecosystem tools, positioning us as a trusted source in the sector.
