Shipper - Day Shift

Role:
We're seeking a shipper/receiver candidate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail to accurately manage incoming and outgoing inventory. The ideal candidate should have experience with shipping and receiving processes, including familiarity with relevant software and equipment. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are also essential for coordinating with suppliers and addressing any issues that arise.
Shift : Monday to Friday 6AM - 2:30PM

Responsibilities

• Follow all HACCP and GMP standard operating procedures and accurately document all shipments and receiving.
• Asset to operate both forklift and electric jack and be certified OR (must successfully complete certification within 60 days of posting).
• Load trucks in a safe and orderly manner according to route, ensuring load is properly secured and on schedule.
• Must make sure that all loads are counted and accurately shipped.
• Work in a neat, organized and efficient manner.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment for the length of the shift.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently and clearly.
• Proper and effective communication with Shipping Supervisor to solve problems as they arise.
• Must have computer skills and be familiar with Word and Excel.
• Must be able to work in cold environment for long periods of time.
• Experience in shipping, scanning, and palletizing.
• Forklift certificate is an asset.
• Previous shipping and receiving is an asset.
• Heavy lifting and repetitive work.
