A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Senior Manager Technology Governance & Partnering reporting to the Executive Manager, Strategy & Transformation, Finance Business & Techology Enablement.
A bit about your role
As the Senior Manager Technology Governance and Partnering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Finance systems at nbn. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Strategy & Transformation, Finance Business & Technology Enablement, you will be focused on ensuring our systems are governed effectively and supported sustainably. Your work will be instrumental in aligning technology operations with nbn’s strategic goals, fostering innovation, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across Finance.
In conjunction with the Finance Business & Technology Enablement LT and key SEO stakeholders, you will contribute to the development of the Finance Systems support strategy and roadmap that aligns to the Finance and nbn strategy. Leading from the front, your collaboration with key SEO stakeholders will drive our continuous improvement agenda focusing on initiatives that deliver Finance systems improvements. This will actively demonstrate the value of bringing a challenger mindset to E2E processes and value streams to unlock opportunity for process simplification and operational excellence and competent in delivering projects and leading and embedding change.
You will guide the development and delivery of data-informed performance assessments and operational plans, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure Finance systems are robust, responsive, and future-ready. With a strong focus on collaboration, you will build trusted relationships across the enterprise, championing customer-centric thinking and driving initiatives that simplify processes and enhance performance. Your leadership will inspire a high-performing, inclusive team culture, where people feel empowered to grow and contribute meaningfully to nbn’s 2030 strategy.
A bit about you
You are a strategic thinker with proven experience in large, complex organisations—ideally within telecommunications, finance, consulting, or retail. Your background includes deep functional knowledge of Oracle e-Business Suite, particularly across Finance, Inventory, Projects, and Procurement, and you bring hands-on expertise in delivering system improvement initiatives that add real value.
You thrive in dynamic environments and are known for your ability to lead change with empathy and clarity. Your communication style is inclusive and engaging, and you’re confident influencing senior stakeholders to drive transformation. With a methodical and analytical mindset, you approach challenges with curiosity and purpose, always seeking opportunities to improve and innovate. You’re passionate about building strong partnerships and enabling others to succeed, making you a natural fit for a role that’s as much about people as it is about technology.
