Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and business-minded Corporate Counsel to join our legal team. This role will provide legal support across multiple functions, including corporate governance, commercial contracts, compliance, and risk management. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing legal risk with business objectives, and collaborating with teams across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and draft contracts
• Handle complaints and provide advice on compliance matters where necessary
• Provide legal guidance to legal and technical departments
• Conduct research on legal and technical matters
• Work with regulators on business and regulatory issues
• Take part in matters related to the production of CLE events, including research
• Assist Performance Department operations as needed, including reviewing hearing reports 
• Assist company with other legal needs

Qualifications:

• A Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• An active license to practice law
• Prior experience handling consumer debt collection cases
• Experience with regulatory matters, contractual issues and other common business issues
• No prior history of discipline or financial transgressions

Starting Pay: $95,000 to $125,000

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, Hybrid Remote
