Machine Operator (9:30PM - 6:00AM) - 5306

We are looking for a Machine Operator for our Daniels’ medical waste treatment facility in Walton, KY, who will be responsible for running our automated Washsmart system. Our Washsmart system mechanically opens our medical waste containers, and the operator manages the sanitization process ensuring all containers are quality inspected, buffed, and staged for transportation to a healthcare facility. What Will Your Job Involve?

• Responsible for weighing in regulated medical waste using our weighbridge software.
• Load/operate our autoclave machine (a pressure chamber to melt materials)
• Receive inbound shipments and restock supplies in correct areas
• Drive a forklift and operate hand trucks once trained
• Lifting 55lbs and push a four-wheeled cart that weighs as much as 500lbs
• Provide attention to detail, especially with the paperwork required to process these items
• Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
• Working well with a team because we are all about teamwork
• Sanitization of reusable containers using chemicals such as bleach
• Housekeeping of specified work areas
