As the Executive Assistant you will provide administrative leadership and support to the President/CEO, the Chief Legal and People Officer (CLPO), and the company’s legal and governmental affairs organization. Primary duties include drafting communications and presentations; liaising with board members, key customers, and business partners; performing research and coordinating ad hoc projects; and managing calendars, scheduling, meeting logistics, and travel. You will also play a significant role in supporting the efficient operation of our senior leadership team.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative and operational support for the CEO, CLPO, and legal and governmental affairs team (calendar management, agenda planning, expense reporting, team onboarding, and general management of key small to mid-size projects).
  • Coordinate and plan travel arrangements.
  • Schedule and coordinate onsite and offsite meetings and/or events. Attend and participate as needed to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Document key decisions and manage digital and paper corporate records.
  • Prepare presentations and communications. Facilitate effective communication between the executive office and internal/external stakeholders. Draft and edit emails, memos, reports, presentations, and other correspondence as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for increased efficiencies in department processes and continually identify proposed improvements.
  • Interact effectively with other executives, leaders, executive assistants, and departments to ensure cooperation and open communication.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to a small team of administrative staff. Ensures continuity of administrative support by maintaining up to date standard operating procedures across administrative team and providing back-up support for other EAs when needed. May delegate administrative responsibilities in support of broader leadership or organizational events and initiatives.
  • Coordinate and complete ad-hoc projects as needed and handle other responsibilities specific to the department.
  • Support executives in various projects and initiatives, conducting research, compiling data, and providing administrative assistance as required.
  • Provide back-up support for EAs in other parts of the company.

Required Competencies and Experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive and resourceful problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work well under pressure.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Sharepoint.
  • Familiarity with other software such as Adobe Acrobat, Canva, Power BI, and Salesforce a plus
  • Strong writing, organizational, analytical skills, and content creation skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience and proven capabilities providing administrative support, preferably at an executive level.

5-10 years of experience supporting executive leaders

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in project management or event planning is a plus.

Location Requirements

This role is based at our Battery Atlanta headquarters, with 3–4 days onsite expected each week with flexibility for hybrid work to support a balanced schedule.

Physical Requirements

Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk or workstation while performing computer-based tasks, conducting meetings, and collaborating with colleagues.

Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk within the office environment, such as when attending meetings, interacting with colleagues or external stakeholders, or visiting different departments.

Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry material, files, or equipment weighing up to 20 pounds, such as when organizing documents or setting up for meetings.

Pay range is commensurate with education, experience, specialized skills or certifications, etc.
