We’re a company of people who like to forge our own path and leave the world better than we found it. Who believe that what makes us different makes us stronger. So add your voice. Make an impact. Find your fit — and your future.
Summary Of The Role:
At Levi Strauss & Co., we believe that innovation starts with authenticity. We’re a company that thrives on originality, collaboration, and a shared mission to leave things better than we found them. If you're ready to make your mark, come be part of something bigger.
We’re looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution for our Inventory & Availability platforms. In this role, you’ll own the product lifecycle end-to-end — from defining the vision and roadmap to collaborating with engineering teams on building, deploying, and scaling reliable, customer-facing systems. You’ll play a critical role in shaping platform capabilities, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving technical innovation that powers real-time inventory accuracy and availability across our digital ecosystem. If you’re passionate about building scalable systems, leading through influence, and turning complex problems into impactful solutions, this is your opportunity to drive meaningful change at scale
About The Role:
- Define and Drive the Strategic Product Vision: Own the long-term vision and strategy for Digital Inventory Services, aligning cross-functional stakeholders and enterprise priorities to deliver business value at scale.
- Architect and Evolve the Product Roadmap: Develop a forward-looking roadmap that balances platform modernization, scalability, and speed-to-value—prioritizing foundational capabilities alongside customer-facing innovation.
- Lead Complex System Integrations: Partner deeply with engineering, data, operations, and fulfillment teams to ensure seamless, real-time integration of inventory data across eCommerce, OMS, POS, and supply chain platforms.
- Build a Data-Driven Product Culture: Define key performance indicators for inventory accuracy, data latency, and fulfillment reliability. Use quantitative and qualitative insights to continuously optimize the product and system performance.
- Translate Business Needs into Scalable Solutions: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across sales, marketing, planning, and logistics to distill business needs into robust, technically sound product requirements and platform capabilities.
- Champion the Consumer Experience Through Technical Excellence: Drive features that enable real-time inventory visibility, intelligent product reservations, and dynamic fulfillment—all with a focus on improving customer satisfaction and reducing operational friction.
- Lead Vendor & Platform Strategy: Evaluate and manage third-party platforms and services related to inventory accuracy, system orchestration, and data synchronization. Own vendor relationships and ensure SLAs are met.
- Plan for Resilience and Scale: Identify and mitigate risks related to data inconsistency, peak demand loads, and platform outages. Build for scale to support omnichannel growth, global expansion, and new digital capabilities.
- Drive Innovation and Technical Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of emerging technologies in inventory intelligence, APIs, distributed systems, and retail tech. Bring forward bold, practical ideas to keep the platform future-ready.
About You:
- 8–10+ years of product management experience, with at least 4–5 years in technical product roles within eCommerce, retail, or supply chain
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in inventory and order management, including availability, order orchestration, payments, and returns
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Manhattan Active Omni, IBM Sterling, Shopify, Magento, or custom-built commerce systems
- Strong understanding of omnichannel fulfillment, distributed order systems, and inventory visibility across channels
- Familiarity with domain-driven design, hexagonal architecture, and API-first integration approaches
- Ability to participate in architectural discussions and make technically sound product decisions
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- MBA or equivalent experience in business or product strategy
- Experience managing inventory across multiple geographies or channels
- Background in ERP, WMS, or third-party logistics system integrations
- Experience with platform scalability and performance optimization in high-volume retail environments.
