Jr. International Branch Reporting and Tax Specialist

As a Jr. International Branch Reporting and Tax Specialist, your mission is to facilitate compliance and streamline branch reporting, ensuring bunq’s branches experience seamless international operations and robust regulatory alignment.

• As a Jr. International Branch Reporting and Tax Specialist, you own the complete reporting process for bunq’s branches, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness in all submissions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all branches and subsidiaries of bunq meet the reporting requirements for central banks and tax authorites fostering smooth international transactions.

What you’ll work on right away:

• Receive branch balance sheets and P&L from the Financial Administration for regulatory accuracy.
• Manage and review balance sheets and adjust P&L sheets when needed for foreign branches get them reviewed and confirmed by your lead.
• Prepare relevant regulatory reports internally or share relevant information with external auditors.
• Submit finalized reports through various central bank portals, ensuring zero errors.
• Monitor Central Bank websites for new reporting obligations, template updates, and validation rules quarterly.

Requirements

• Attention to Detail : You have a mindset for checking, verifying, and questioning numbers or entries until everything aligns, ensuring compliance and accuracy in reporting.
• Plan & Organize : You have ability to manage deadlines and break down regulatory processes into repeatable steps, securing timely submissions.
• Curiosity & Initiative : You are a proactive learner who quickly absorbs new rules, systems, and regulatory logic across countries, adapting seamlessly.
• Familiarity with Tax and Compliance Concepts : You understand why reports exist and the impact of correct/incorrect filings, maintaining a high standard of compliance.
