The Company provides concierge-level medical care and service for its patients. This position supports Interventional Radiology physicians and advanced practice providers, primarily performing non-patient facing procedure and exam authorization and scheduling activities. This position also encompasses one half to one full day of patient-facing check-in/check-out at the clinic office.

Essential Functions:
- Provide in person support to patient-facing clinic, up to 12 hours per week
- Communicate professionally and effectively with physicians, patients, and partnering facilities, daily.
- Use of proper phone etiquette in a call center environment.
- Maintain patient demographics and insurance information using eClinical Works (electronic medical record system.
- Work with referring offices to obtain necessary patient paperwork and demographics.
- Provide accurate coding to obtain appropriate authorizations.
- Complete Insurance pre-authorizations
- Facilitate scheduling of IR procedures and exams within eCW and partnering hospitals.
- Update patient records with reports and follow up procedures/exams, as appropriate.
- Perform follow up calls with patients regarding procedures, as needed.
- Fax patient procedure reports/letters to referring physicians as requested by an IR Radiologist.
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient information and records, at all times.
- Problem solve IR physician schedules to include trades/switches to accommodate specific patient procedures.
- Build & maintain good rapport with hospital partners
- Additional duties upon request.
Required Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One or more years of experience working in a radiology clinic, radiology images, or physicians.
- An understanding of radiology/medical terminology highly preferred.
- Prior experience answering phones/calling insurance companies required.
- Prior experience of patient scheduling and performing insurance pre-authorizations is a plus.
- Previous eClinical Works, EMR and PAC’s system experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of radiology coding experience is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
- Prior experience with MS Windows is required and basic knowledge of MS word and Excel are desired.
- Clean Motor Vehicle report and reliable transportation required. Mileage will be reimbursed at the current IRS mileage rate.
- To work remote from your home a physical Broadband cable/fiber optics connection to the home for from an Internet Service Provider is required. Wireless or Satellite services are not allowed to be connected to company owned computer equipment.
Travel Required:
- 0-20% - IR clinic downtown Denver

Physical Demands:
- Sitting up to 8 hours per day.
