Spotify Advertising is looking for an Associate Manager to support the execution of our advertising business marketing strategy in the UK - one of Spotify’s most important markets - helping us drive demand and grow consideration among brands, media agencies, and advertising partners in the market.
This role sits within the International Marketing team. Working closely with partners across the organisation, you will help create and run compelling integrated marketing campaigns, inclusive of digital, social, and experiential extensions that align with global narrative and research to drive awareness and consideration for advertising on Spotify.

You are resourceful, organised, have exceptional attention to detail and have the ability to develop well-defined processes to support effective project rollouts.
This position reports to the Head of EMEA Business Marketing and will include close day-to-day collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager in the UK plus local, regional and international teams. The position is hybrid, with the expectation to work from our London office at least 2 days per week.

What You'Ll Do

  • Collaborate with the UK Senior Marketing Manager to identify in-market opportunities and develop recommendations on how to build scalable and innovative programs that drive education and inspiration around Spotify Advertising, and supporting the UK sales team.
  • Coordinate activations across Spotify Advertising-owned events, regional sponsorships, conferences, and campaigns. Responsibilities may include content development, production support, guest list and invitation management, scheduling executive briefings, and driving communication across internal cross-functional teams and external production agencies.
  • Own the adaptation and localisation of sales materials and programs,ensuring narratives are consistent with the global story, but are culturally relevant for the UK market.
  • Work with key trade organisations to manage UK memberships and act as Spotify’s liaison
  • Assist the global business marketing team in maintaining the market’s digital channels including social content, paid media, website and newsletters
  • Lead the UK awards strategy by researching, identifying, and submitting successful Spotify advertising campaigns to relevant industry awards to securing recognition.
  • Drive the EMEA merchandise and client gifting strategy for regional partners, while overseeing UK merchandise planning, production, and inventory management in collaboration with the UK Sales team
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional working groups to build scalable, innovative digital programs to educate clients about the Spotify Advertising offering
  • Reconcile program, department, and event budgets; working closely with Procurement and Finance teams to ensure proper budget tracking and payments, including managing PO’s, setting up suppliers 

Who You Are

  • You have a BA in Marketing or an equivalent degree
  • You have 5+ years of experience in the digital media environment, in a similar B2B marketing role
  • Know how to work both autonomously, as part of a small team, and cross-functionally with different departments both locally and internationally
  • A proactive self-starter, willing to jump in and execute
  • You have extensive experience running complex mutli-channel programs, including content development, live/digital event experience and projects with multiple deadlines
  • Experience working with Sales teams and a history of strong internal relationships
  • A good understanding of the media landscape in the UK
  • The ability to mix creativity with strategic thinking and demonstrate strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • A consistent track record of project management from concept through implementation and completion
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Preferred: experience using Keynote, Salesforce, Asana, Splash and the Google suite
