Data Science Analyst

We are seeking a Data Science Analyst to join our growing Data Science team. This role is a blend of analytics, data engineering, and applied business insight. The analyst will work closely with data scientists to support model development, run retroactive analyses, build dashboards, and generate insights that drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with large datasets, and able to translate data into actionable stories for both technical and non-technical audiences.

This position will be based fully remote. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.

Your Impact:

• Data Extraction & Management
• Pull, clean, and validate data from relational databases and other data sources.
• Partner with data scientists to prepare datasets for modeling and analysis.
• Model Support & Analysis
• Run retroactive analyses of model performance and summarize results.
• Support smaller tickets for model building, including feature engineering and exploratory analysis.
• Insights & Reporting
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate insights clearly through written reports, visualizations, and presentations.
• Dashboarding & Visualization
• Design and maintain dashboards that track KPIs, model performance, and other business-critical metrics.
• Ensure stakeholders have timely, accurate, and accessible reporting.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or a similar data analysis language.
• Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
