What will you be doing?

Design/develop software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs and requirements using specialized domain knowledge and developed business expertise.

Build scalable, high-performance data platforms that support healthcare data transformation and governance

Focus on software quality standards for all aspects of work; establishes advanced software test standards and methods and conducts complex software tests. 

Design and implement backend services and APIs using Java within a microservices architecture.

Work at all layers of the application stack including front-end user interface and backend development.

Collaborate with data engineers, DevOps, and product owners to deliver reusable, governed data products

Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architectural discussions to shape platform evolution.

Focus on software quality standards for all aspects of work; establishes advanced software test standards and methods and conducts complex software tests.

Assist in on-boarding new Software Engineers to the team

Work with Airflow, DataHub, Jenkins, Git, Snowflake, Azure, Kubernetes & Docker

What is required to get the job done?

- 6+ years of experience in backend development using Java in enterprise environments.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Proficiency in writing clean, testable code using TDD and CI/CD practices.

Solid experience with SQL, Python for backend logic and integration.

- Ability to collaborate effectively in agile squads and contribute to system design and architecture discussions.
