eDrive Test Engineer

Test Lead will be primarily responsible for e-motor& GB test standard development and DVP&R release. Test Lead will also lead test data analysis and create general test reports. As well as being involved in test set up & commissioning

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for the eDrive related DVP&R; Being involved in establishment of eDrive test capability (including motor& Gearbox)
• Responsible for the e-motor& GB test standard and test method development
• Responsible for all kinds of development verification and testing related to e-motor& GB, including drafting verification processes, writing test specifications and general test report.
• Responsible for developing comprehensive test plan, including test list, test timing, location etc. Negotiated and aligned internal/customer. Determines Function & Vibration & Durability test profiles necessary to demonstrate customer reliability / confidence requirements. Responsible for customer sign-off.  Own & manage overall schedule.
• Responsible for leading the resolution of problems during the test process, Collaborate with R&D to optimize designs.
• Responsible for leading review all test results, data, summaries, organize all single reports and prepare internal & customer reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent required. Good at using English, both oral and written.
• proficient in GBT18488, ISO16750, IEC60034 etc.
• Be familiar with motor, Gearbox, and motor control principles, and capable of conducting related testing.
• Be familiar with test benches (single-motor dyno/three-motor dyno) with capability to guide test setup and ensure test environments comply with validation requirements.
• Own strong analytical skills, good communication and teamwork abilities. A quick learner with proactive self-motivation and dedication to exploring new test technologies.
• Be familiar with specialized software tools (CANape/Canalyzer, FAMOS, etc.) for product testing validation and test data processing/analysis, with scripting capabilities (Python/VB) for test tool development being a strong advantage
• Be familiar with Microsoft Office software.
