Job Title: Senior Director, AECO Global Sales Enablement

Summary

The Senior Director, AECO Global Sales Enablement, is responsible for leading and executing learning strategies that enable Trimble's AECO global direct and indirect sales teams to meet and exceed revenue goals. This position increases sales success by engaging sellers in learning, tools, and experiences that drive desired behaviors and results. Enablement initiatives will be directly aligned with key business initiatives focused on People, Pipeline, and Productivity. This leader will manage a high-performing global team, responsible for global sales curricula, instructional design, and regional sales enablement. The role reports directly to the VP of Sales Operations for AECO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic vision and execute comprehensive global sales enablement programs to significantly increase sales productivity and fuel growth across Trimble's AECO direct and indirect sales teams. This includes defining strategic direction for onboarding, certification, and leadership development programs, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing global sales enablement team, providing strategic direction and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. This includes leadership and support for a team of global managers who are responsible for developing and implementing enablement programs.
  • Accelerate time-to-productivity for sales hires and elevate expertise across all sales roles by creating and delivering effective strategies for global onboarding programs, upskilling initiatives, career development, and certification programs. Demonstrate results tied to business objectives. 
  • Enhance sales efficiency, velocity, and pipeline rigor through the strategic adoption of best practice behaviors, proven sales methodologies, and optimization of advanced sales technologies. This includes leveraging solutions for revenue intelligence, content management, learning platforms, automated video demonstrations, and prospecting and buyer engagement.
  • Lead cross-functional and global collaboration with sales, Go-to-Market, and other Trimble leaders to maximize sales effectiveness as well as sharing learning and enablement best practices.
  • Establish and monitor strategic Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to assess the impact and return on investment of enablement programs, leveraging data-driven insights and analytics to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience providing sales enablement program curriculum development, instructional-systems design methodologies, adult learning theory and application, and e-learning concepts.
  • 8+ years of experience building, leading, maintaining, and managing successful global sales enablement teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Instructional Systems Design, or a related subject, combined with work experience as an instructional designer or learning leader with a software company, developing content for both technical and sales audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver and facilitate training and experience partnering with leaders and teams to assess, design, and deliver learning solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including effective listening, accurate information transmission, active feedback seeking, and effective presentation to various group sizes and knowledge levels.
  • Demonstrated use of industry best practices for learning needs analysis, project management, and curriculum development to define learning objectives, create course content and learning tools, and establish criteria for evaluating training effectiveness.

Compensation:  Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.

$170,554.00–$230,444.00
