Senior Automation Tester

Position Responsibilities:

1. Lead integration testing efforts for projects, including writing high-quality automated test scripts, assigning tasks, and ensuring comprehensive test coverage and efficient execution.

2. Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts (BAs) to identify and confirm the scope and priorities of integration testing.

3. Support team members within the integration testing group by assisting in resolving technical or business-related issues during testing.

4. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to improve testing efficiency and feedback speed, supporting agile development practices.

5. Perform high-quality manual testing in scenarios not yet covered by automation, including exploratory testing, UI validation, and bug verification.

Required Qualifications:

1. Proficient in at least one mainstream automation testing tool (e.g., Selenium, Appium), with hands-on project experience.

2. Familiar with at least one programming language (e.g., Groovy, Java, Python), with strong coding standards and debugging skills.

3. Familiar with CI/CD processes and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

4. Good English reading and writing skills, with the ability to communicate in English at a basic level.

5. Educational background in computer science or a related field, with solid programming and software testing fundamentals.

6. Experience in agile development projects, familiar with Scrum or Kanban methodologies and team collaboration processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with the Katalon automation testing framework is a strong plus.

2. Solid knowledge of the insurance industry is preferred.

3. Familiarity with Alibaba Cloud platforms and services is a plus.

4. Experience in data testing or large-scale data migration testing is preferred.
