We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QC Analyst to join our Quality Control team at Church Stretton. This role is ideal for early-career professionals with a strong scientific background who are eager to apply their knowledge in a dynamic laboratory environment. The successful candidate will support routine and non-routine testing activities, contribute to method development, and play a key role in ensuring product quality and compliance.

In this role you will:
•    Conduct routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products following established SOPs.
•    Perform both physical material characterization and chromatographic analysis to assess product stability and quality.
•    Compile and document test data to enable product release, for stability programs, formulation studies, and assay validation.
•    Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation (e.g., LC, particle sizing equipment).
•    Review analytical data for compliance with specifications and report abnormalities.
•    Participate in investigations and contribute to technical reports and summaries.
•    Assist in the development and validation of new test methods.
•    Revise and update SOPs as required to reflect current practices.
•    Support special projects, including instrument upgrades, process improvements, and compliance initiatives.
•    Ensuring compliance with EH&S and ISO9001 Quality standards.
 

Qualifications

•  We are looking for an individual with the following background:
• •    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• •    Lab experience (academic or industrial) is a plus.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
