Are you enthusiastic about enhancing supply chain operations and contributing to successful projects? We are looking for a committed Supply Chain Management Advisor to become part of our team at the Edmonton Refinery. In this key position, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of supply chain management—including procurement, materials management, logistics, and contracting—to ensure these functions are carried out effectively in support of our business goals.Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- 3 years experience in supply chain management, preferably within the oil & gas, energy, or industrial sectors
- Strong knowledge of procurement, materials management, logistics, and contracting best practices
- Excellent analytical, interpretive, organization and problem-solving skills
- Experience with SAP
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the single point of contact for respective sites to resolve and coordinate the resolution of complex issues related to improving Material & Service availability, in addition to guiding sites through appropriate SCM processes
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities for turnarounds and projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
- Work closely with site leads, warehouse to resolve kitting and staging issues
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure alignment with project requirements and business goals
- Steward Supply Chain performance to Business stakeholders
- Identify and implement process improvements to manage event or project-specific supply chain risks or delivery constraints
- Track business critical deliveries to properly prioritize based on business requirements/schedules
- Promote early Supply Chain engagement by actively supporting business stakeholders in their long-term planning efforts
- Identify value-creation opportunities and facilitate the realization of the opportunities
- Champion Manage Goods & Services processes
Location & Other Key Details:
- You will work out of our Edmonton refinery in Sherwood Park, located at 801 Petroleum Way
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
- Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
