Position Overview

The Pharmacy Benefit Services+ Technology organization is seeking a Machine Learning Associate Advisor to join our team. This Band 3 Contributor role is a key part of the group, driving innovation and operational excellence across the enterprise.

In this role, you will lead the development of intelligent, automated systems that streamline the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) by enabling scalable, low-maintenance solutions and accelerating solution adoption. A primary deliverable includes a self-service onboarding kit that empowers users—regardless of technical expertise—to begin using the solution within minutes, with zero coding and no ongoing maintenance required.

You will operate within a high-performance, high-frequency enterprise technology environment, collaborating closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to design reusable, adaptable solutions. Your focus will be on reducing redundancy, promoting reusability, and upholding high standards of engineering excellence.

Your solutions will be designed for broad adoption across multiple stakeholder groups, including developers, end-to-end testers, business analysts, and operations teams. By enabling shared tooling and consistent automation frameworks, you will foster greater collaboration, reduce the creation of duplicate or siloed products, and improve the overall quality and consistency of enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of intelligent automation solutions that streamline the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from development through testing and deployment.
  • Provide comprehensive consultation to business units, IT management, and technical teams on all aspects of application development, testing, and automation across diverse environments.
  • Develop self-service onboarding kits and reusable frameworks that enable rapid adoption by users with varying technical backgrounds, requiring no additional coding or maintenance.
  • Offer architectural leadership and AI/ML guidance, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology strategy and long-term scalability.
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify and recommend efficient, cost-effective, and scalable AI/ML automation solutions across the SDLC—including test data generation, code/test case/script generation, root cause analysis, and predictive analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—developers, testers, business analysts, and operations teams—to ensure solutions are adaptable, reusable, and reduce duplication across the enterprise.
  • Enhance quality assurance through intelligent validation, monitoring, and automation strategies that support both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Increase developer productivity by automating repetitive tasks and integrating intelligent tooling into development workflows.
  • Accelerate speed to market by enabling faster, more reliable delivery of features through CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Demonstrate industry-leading technical expertise to improve product quality and optimize day-to-day engineering operations.
  • Understand and manage upstream/downstream impacts across front-end and back-end architectural modules.
  • Use heat matrices and analytics to prioritize quality and development engineering resources on high-impact areas while identifying lower-priority zones.
  • Proactively monitor and manage automation solutions to ensure scalability, stability, flexibility, simplicity, performance, availability, security, and capacity.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize automation artifacts for seamless execution in CI/CD pipelines and local environments, minimizing dependency conflicts and reducing cycle time.
  • Drive adoption of automation solutions across teams, ensuring they are low-maintenance, enhancement-ready, and require no deep technical intervention.
  • Promote a culture of automation, encouraging teams to adopt automated processes wherever feasible.
  • Serve as a recognized subject matter expert (SME) in AI/ML-driven automation and enterprise engineering practices.
